• Pustular psoriasis is not a very common type. It either occurs in widespread patches or in smaller patches in the hands, fingertips or feet. This type may be accompanied by symptoms such as fever, chills, weight loss, severe itching, and fatigue. The disease can be triggered by sunlight, pregnancy, emotional stress, perspiration, infections, medications or exposure to certain chemicals.

• Erythrodermic psoriasis is one of the least common types and occurs due to severe sunburn.

• The symptoms of psoriasis arthritis are discolored and pitted nails along with painful and swollen joints, like in the cases of arthritis.
